Waterjet cutting

Water jet cutting is a cold cutting process where a jet of water, or a mix of abrasive substance and water, slices into metal at a high pressure and high velocity.. The cutter is connected to a high-pressure water pump that sends high velocity water through the nozzle. The abrasive water jet machines allows for cutting materials like composites, stones, some types of glass, ceramics, and metals.

Metal Art is able to provide waterjet cutting of intricate parts from metal plates, with very high precision (0.1mm), sharps corners and very smooth edges, without burrs or heat affected areas.
